I started taking Mikes classes as i had some injuries from running so wanted to try to build core strength and get some fitness back and decided to give rowing ago after hearing good reports about it. Mikes classes are well structured and good fun. They last an hour with a mix of rowing and core exercises, you don’t notice the hour going by and get a great workout. Mike is a very attentive instructor and takes time to make sure your rowing technique is correct and also brings the class along together in the sessions. Classes are great fun, you’ll get a great workout, highly recommended.
Fantastic total fitness workout with excellent coaching and a really great group atmosphere, pound for pound there is no better low impact -high intensity exercise than rowing which develops fitness, strength and stamina.

We’ve been going to Mike’s classes for a long time. It’s a really great all-over workout, and charges up body and mind when we do regular classes. Mike really knows his stuff and motivates without pushing people beyond their limits.
Mike runs well thought out one hour classes that teach you the correct rowing technique that greatly improves your fitness. The classes are small and well grouped for all abilities to ensure you enjoy and maximise your goals. The added mix of connecting the rowers to create teams and the core and bodyweight exercises in between ensures you get great value. (The ergs are in great nick as well). There’s a nifty app that records your workouts directly from the rowers and an online logbook to record your activities.
Mike is a superb instructor and his rowing classes are brilliant. He tailors each lesson depending on the attendees, making sure everyone is comfortable and challenged appropriately. I have been going to his classes weekly for several months now and it’s a very enjoyable hour each time. Plus, I have improved my fitness significantly. Do not hesitate to join!
